Larkspur Standard Seeds - Mixed Colors - 1800+ Seeds

Delphinium is cherished by gardeners worldwide for its long, beautiful colored spikes surrounded by lovely green foliage. These seeds have the best results with cold/moist stratification. To achieve this, follow these steps:

1. Mix the seeds with moist sand, peat moss, or vermiculite to maintain moisture levels.
2. Place the seeds in a sealable plastic bag or container.
3. Place the container in a refrigerator where the temperature is between 33 to 41°F.
4. Periodically check the moisture levels of the mix and add more water if necessary.
5. Keep the seeds in the fridge for the recommended time, typically 4 to 12 weeks depending on the plant species.
6. After the recommended period, remove the seeds from the fridge, plant them, and keep the soil consistently moist until the seeds germinate.

Delphinium is an excellent backdrop in any wild garden and is also ideal as a cut-flower for bouquets or pressing. It reaches a height of 18-24" and comes in mixed colors.
